Federal Pell Grants

Federal Pell Grant is awarded by the U.S. Department of Education on the basis of financial need.  This grant does not have to be paid back as long as a student remains eligible for the grant throughout the semester.  To be eligible for a Federal Pell Grant, a student must be an undergraduate student who does not already have a bachelor's degree.

If you have met the minimum requirements, your money will be available the Friday before classes begin. If money is not picked up, the Cashier's Office may require additional paperwork before releasing funds.The grant will be credited first to any balance owed for tuition and fees. Any excess grant money can be picked up by you (the student) at the Cashier's office. Remember: You need to bring Photo ID to pick up your money.
