Employer Sponsorship | Workforce Training and Continuing Education

The Workforce Training and Continuing Education Division (WTCE) is responsible for the non-credit programs at the College of Eastern Idaho. We offer a combination of short- and long-term courses spanning topics such as cybersecurity, healthcare, apprenticeships, welding, and regulatory compliance, among many others. From enhancing career aspirations to upskilling, there is a class, certificate, or program just for your employee!

Getting Started

Third-Party Billing (Sponsorship) for Workforce Training Students

• Student (Employee)
  • If your employer has agreed to sponsor the cost of your course, promptly:
    • Create a profile in our student registration system
    • Fill out the digital Release of Information (ROI) form to authorize communications about your enrollment between WTCE staff and your employer

• Employer
  • Before the course registration deadline, send an email to wtce@cei.edu with the following information:
    • Student names
    • Course(s) being covered
    • Amount being covered by employer
    • Intended form of payment (third-party billing, check, or credit card)

• CEI
  • Once all documentation is received, WTCE staff will call the student to complete the registration process

• Payment Options
  • Enroll as a third-party biller by submitting a completed Third-Party Billing Enrollment form

  • Pay by card online or over the phone (208) 535-5345
  • Pay by check in person at CEI’s Cashier’s Office or mail payment to:
    • College of Eastern Idaho
      1600 S. 25^th E., Building 3
      Idaho Falls, ID 83404

Student/Employee Responsibility

If a sponsor/employer fails to pay, the student will assume responsibility for all charges. Registration for WTCE classes is not complete until payment has been made in full.
