Internships
An internship is a chance to try out a career before you commit, so an internship can be industrial, corporate or academic. Most people learn a great deal about the career path they may or may not want to pursue from an internship and either way, it can be excellent foundational work experience. In most cases an intern is paid, and many internship opportunities are only available during the summer months, when students are more likely to be available to work full-time. An academic internship lets you see what it is like to participate in research at a university or college.
