The College of Eastern Idaho Cybersecurity Program has been selected as a subaward partner in a Boise State University project supported through National Security Agency (NSA) cyber education funding CAE grant.

The project will provide artificial intelligence and cybersecurity professional development opportunities for educators throughout the region and expand access to emerging cybersecurity workforce skills. Through this collaboration, CEI will support training activities designed to reach educators and strengthen cybersecurity education capacity across Idaho and the surrounding region by attending workshops in Boise and bringing paid-teacher training back to our region in Summer of 2028.

Program activities will focus on preparing elementary educators to integrate AI-enabled cybersecurity concepts and techniques into classroom instruction while supporting development of the future cybersecurity workforce.

This partnership demonstrates CEI's continued commitment to cybersecurity education, regional outreach, faculty development, and collaboration with higher education partners committed to advancing cybersecurity excellence
