Nuclear Symposium Registration
The BEA Applied STEM Institute and Idaho National Laboratory are excited to announce the first annual Nuclear Industry Symposium.
High school seniors from throughout Eastern Idaho are invited to attend and hear from industry leaders and professionals for a day of exploration and networking. Student participants will explore various careers available within the nuclear industry and develop an understanding of the education and training required to work in high-wage nuclear jobs available within our community.
Schools are limited to 25 seniors each. Home school students are welcome to participate. Seats are limited and will be filled on a first-come-first-reserved basis. Students must register individually and complete a pre-attendance survey to secure their seat.
Financial assistance for travel expenses are available to rural schools through support from the Idaho STEM Action Center and the BEA Applied STEM Institute. School administrators should contact mary.stephenson@cei.edu to inquire about travel assistance.
Event registration is open August 13 - September 2nd. The STEM Institute will maintain a waitlist for schools wishing to bring more than 25 seniors and extra seats will be opened if space is available.
