How long will it take?
The digital media specialist program is a one-year (two full-time semesters) program. You will have an Intermediate Technical Certificate (ITC) when you graduate.

Application
Students wanting to apply for a degree seeking program at the College of Eastern Idaho (CEI) must submit all of the following application materials for review:
- Application for admission
- Official High School/GED transcript
- Official transcripts from ALL colleges attended
- Students must meet computer literacy proficiency.
- Pass BSN 215 with a grade of “B” or better
- Pass the CEI Computer Literacy Exam with an 80% and/or better
- And/or gain instructor permission
Requirements
Once in the program, students must pass their program specific courses with a minimum grade of C (75%) or higher and must be passed consecutively before continuing on to the next course.
It is recommended that all prospective students visit with an instructor to review their particular qualifications and receive an overview of the program prior to enrollment.
Laptop Requirements
Student laptops need to have sufficient disk space to install multiple programs. A solid-state drive with
at least 512GB of space is recommended. Laptops need a multicore processor and at least 8GB of RAM.
Screens should be at least 13”.
Laptops can be either Windows or Apple. Chromebooks will not work for this program.
