How long does it take to get the GED?
Obtaining a GED depends on current knowledge level, learning capabilities, and how much time can be dedicated to learning the material. Length of time can vary from person to person.
What days are classes held?
Most classes in Idaho Falls are available morning or evening for two days a week, either Monday and Wednesday, or Tuesday and Thursday. Some rare few classes are held Monday - Thursday. Outreaches may have their own schedule that depends solely upon what works for the area.
How many classes are required to take?
You can take as few as 1 class to as many as 5 classes at one time. Whatever works with your schedule.
How much are the classes?
We receive funding from grants, so we are able to offer no-cost classes, but we do require pre and post testing for funding purposes.
Do I have to work during Spring break or Christmas break?
Students are not required to work during Spring break or Christmas break. If funding has been approved the student may have the choice to work during the break with supervisor approval.
