Eleven seniors from this rural high school graduating with associate degrees

Some high school seniors from a rural eastern Idaho high school will graduate high school with a head start on college.

Eleven students from Firth High School will graduate with a diploma and an associate degree. This means that many of them will be able to earn their bachelor’s degree in only two years.

A fair aimed to help parents and children will be coming to Idaho Falls

IDAHO FALLS — Finding good child care can be a difficult task for working parents, but one event this weekend is aiming to make it a bit easier. The East Idaho Childcare Fair will be on Saturday, April 26, at the College of Eastern Idaho cafeteria from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.  It Takes a Village in Idaho — a local support group for moms — is partnering up with CEI and Idaho STARS for the event.

CEI will be holding high school welding competition

For the first time in 15 years, the College of Eastern Idaho is hosting a high school welding competition on April 18, according to a press release.
