The College of Eastern Idaho offers the Nuclear-Informed Industrial Readiness Certificate. This certificate is awarded upon completion of The Nuclear Primer and the Safety & Worksite Compliance Certificate. This certificate verifies foundational nuclear literacy paired with industry-recognized safety training designed for work in highly regulated technical environments.
Program Structure
Step 1: Complete The Nuclear Primer course
This course provides foundational nuclear industry knowledge, terminology, regulatory context, and safety culture principles relevant to work in nuclear and advanced energy environments.
Step 2: Complete the Safety & Worksite Compliance Certificate.
Choose three of the following six courses:
- OSHA 10 or 30 (Construction)
- HAZWOPER 40
- Human Performance & Safety Culture Basics
- OSHA #3155 Fall Protection
- OSHA #7115 Lockout Tagout
- OSHA Confined Space Entrant & Attendant
Participants select courses based on career goals, employer requirements, or industry pathway.
